1.  I cannot stand it when people misspell my name.  I spell my first name LindsEy.  I get LindsAy all the time.  It really doesn’t bother me when they do it at Starbucks or any time when it is virtually a stranger who writes it (I actually just get really excited when they get it right without me having to spell it).  What does enrage me is when it is already written on an email (or multiple emails) and the person writing back doesn’t take the quick second to make sure they have spelled it right! Especially when I make to point to close the email with my first name only, and then they misspell it AGAIN!!

2.  I made a really stupid choice yesterday in the hope of saving myself a few seconds in the getting-ready process and ended up burning my armpit instead!!

When I put a shirt on, I hate to take if off again for fear of stretching it out or getting make-up all over it before I even leave the house. So yesterday I put on a shirt to wear to work.  I took it off to add an undershirt.  I put it back on only to realize that it could use a little steaming because there were a few wrinkles.  I turned on the steamer and decided that it would probably work if I just steamed it while it was on.

Now, I admit that this was not one of my most intelligent ideas, and I even knew that at the time, but I thought it would save my shirt, as well as a little time. 

I put the seamer between my undershirt and my blouse and steamed the front…and it worked perfect!  I then went to the back, and, again, it worked great.  Next came the sides.  I started on one of the sides and after I felt the burning feeling of the steam coming into contact with my underarm, I realized that the elastic in the sleeve was creating a steam-collection…there was no place for the steam to exit my shirt so it was just hanging out inside!!  It was super hot and felt like I had a horrible sunburn that had just came into contact with hot water!  Needless to say that I had to take my shirt off to tend to my burning armpit!

I know this makes me sound like a complete idiot!  My husband thought that it was hilarious when I relayed the details to him last night!  I am happy to report that there has been no lingering damage and my underarm is feeling great today!
