Bachelorette/Bachelor Pet Peeve
If you have a rose and are at the cocktail party before a rose ceremony, do NOT interrupt a person’s one-on-one time to have a chat…especially when the other person DOES NOT have a rose! That is just unfair, and pretty rude!

(Sidenote: l hope no one can "smell" me when I come into a room (unless it's beacuse of distinctive perfume), and I was carrying take-and-bake pizzas when this happened)

Wednesday Confession
With only two half days of the school year left, I realized tonight that I will miss my class. With all of our tribulations and triumphs this year, I am a little sad thinking of them going off to 6th grade. It is more bittersweet than I had thought it would be.

Top 10 Things That Made My 26th Birthday Awesome
Morning surprise from my husband who brought me home my favorite donut (cake with white frosting and colored sprinkles) and 2 dozen donuts for me to take to share with my co-workers.

Zinfest
Matt and I are going to spend this beautiful Saturday afternoon with Alice and Brad at Lodi’s Zinfest! I am extremely excited because I have never attended, and last year when all of my lady friends went, I was at BIL’s wedding. So today is the day when I will finally get to experience all the wonder that is ZINFEST!

"Dated" Myself
I always laugh when a group of adults bring up something from the past, and when a younger person has no idea what they are talking about, they say, “I’m dating myself,” or some other comment that basically states that they are old!
Well, I did this today! I am not one to feel old or dread birthdays, but today I made myself feel VERY old!

My Class used an ENTIRE full-sized box of Kleenex...
Over 100 tissues GONE! We have now used over 100 boxes of Kleenex this year!
I have even taken MY class time to teach them the “right” way to use Kleenex…which is not taking 3 tissues, touching one of them to your nose, and then throwing them all in the trash!
